Victor Valley College - 32nd PCF Academy - 3-13-10

The Victor Valley College 32nd PCF Academy completed the last training burn Saturday night. 41 cadets finished the academy. I am especially proud of Brian Cox and Steve Audet, two Firefighters from my company, BDC 48. Brian finished Top of the Class. Great Job guys! More photos available in the FireWXPhoto gallery.

LAFD - Boat Fire - 3-11-10

LAFD E64 responded to a reported auto fire at the 400 block of 95th Street in South Los Angeles. Upon arrival E64 found a well involved boat fire. The crew from 64's got quick knockdown. More photos available in the FireWXPhoto gallery.

San Bernardino County Fire - Extrication - 3-10-10

San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision requiring one patient to be extricated. The incident occurred in Hesperia on Main St. east of  I ave. at approximately 6:40pm. One patient was flown to a trauma center via Mercy Air. The remaining patients were transported by ground ambulances to local hospitals. More photos in the gallery section of FireWXPhoto.

San Bernardino County Fire - PCF Academy Training - 3-6-10

The San Bernardino County Fire Department hosts the PCF Academy at Station 122 located in Yucca Mesa. The new recruits were training on hose evolutions, hydrant operations, preconnect hose pulls and exposure loops. LAFD - Commercial Fire - 2-26-10

LAFD Task Force 4 on a commercial fire in downtown Los Angeles. The fire was in a two story structure at the corner of 4th and Broadway. The fire was reported by an alert LAPD officer. More photos and video in the Gallery section.
