On the evening of September 19th, San Bernardino County Fire, ME302, requested an air ambulance for a patient with a severe ankle injury. Mercy Air 2 was dispatched and the landing zone was at Live Oak Park on the east side of Hesperia. The patient was then flown to a trauma center in the Inland Empire. LAFD - Structure - 9-2-10
On September 2nd at 9:20pm, the LAFD responded to a reported structure fire in the 5800 block of Olympic Ave. When units arrived they found a working fire under an attached carport with extension into the attic of an occupied structure. E58 quickly knocked down the attic fire while additional units worked on the carport. It took 32 firefighters just 19 minutes to control the fire.
